No special equipment is required. You can use all of the same equipment you use to target shoot with today. ShotTrac will score every shot whether you are shooting:

ShotTrac has been designed to be used at your favorite places to shoot - inside or outdoors. However, we highly recommend bringing your target system inside if you will not be using it for extending periods of time.
If you are shooting alone, or with friends next to you, ShotTrac will track every shot. Once you get connected, you can easily sync your scores. Without an internet connection, you will not be able to shoot with online friends.
